After moving into their new Frank Gehry-designed headquarters, MPK20, in 2015, our client continued their expansion westward across a complex and congested site, constructing the campus of tomorrow to manage their platform capabilities and better connect to their data centers around the globe.
This new San Francisco fireboat station is designed for sustainability and resilience. The building itself is a barge that floats on the water, supporting marine fire station duties. It will rise and fall with the tides and climate-related sea-level changes, offering easy boat access to first responders.
